Log data
Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error we collect data and information (through third-party products) known as Log Data. This may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the app's configuration when using the Service, the time and date of use, and other statistics.
Analytics on this website
This website uses:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, general traffic sources). GA4 uses cookies/identifiers to distinguish sessions.
- Microsoft Clarity — for heatmaps, scroll maps, and session recordings, so we can see how visitors actually interact with the site (where they click, how far they scroll) and improve it over time. Clarity masks form-field input by default; we do not use it to capture data typed into the demo-request, newsletter, or careers forms.
Both are third-party analytics services with their own privacy policies; neither is used to identify you personally beyond standard web-analytics identifiers, and neither is used for advertising or resold to third parties.
GA4 and Microsoft Clarity account/tracking IDs are placeholders until the accounts are created (plumbing phase); this section describes the disclosed intent regardless of whether the IDs are live yet.
Contact form and newsletter signup data
When you submit the demo-request form (/contact/), the careers form (/careers/), or the newsletter signup (/newsletter/), the information you provide (name, company, fleet size, role, inspection regime of interest, message, or email address) is sent via an owned Cloudflare Pages Function directly to Navguide Solutions' operational inbox. It is not stored in a third-party CRM at this time, not sold, and not used for anything beyond responding to your request and, for newsletter signups, sending the monthly Navguide News newsletter.
Submitted form data is retained as long as needed to respond to your request, or until you ask us to delete it — a specific retention period is pending confirmation.
Hosting and infrastructure
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It is no longer built on WordPress and does not run WordPress plugins. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, processes standard web-request data (IP address, request headers) as part of delivering the site; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details of their processing as a data processor on our behalf.
Service providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to:
- facilitate our Service;
- provide the Service on our behalf;
- perform Service-related services; or
- assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Security
We value your trust in providing your personal information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
